Monrovia's Giving Hands Store Opens Friday

The Giving Hands Store and Donation Center plans to open its doors Friday.

The thrift store, located at 925 W. Foothill Boulevard, plans to kick off its grand opening at 9 a.m. with a 25-percent-off sale on all items in the store, according to an announcement on the Patch board.

Giving Hands is a nonprofit organization whose mission involves providing assistance to at-risk children and low income families in the Foothill communities and Southern California. One of the ways the organization raises funds for programs is from its resale stores.
