More Power Outages Scheduled For Northeast Monrovia

The outages are required to make upgrades and improvements to equipment owned by Southern California Edison, the utility company said.

MONROVIA, CA — Residents living in northeastern Monrovia should expect another round of scheduled power outages beginning Sunday as Southern California Edison continues work on its aging infrastructure.

The power utility will make any necessary repairs and improvements as part of the work, Monrovia officials said.

The outages will impact these neighborhoods:

  • 900 block of East Greystone Avenue, Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • 2000 block of South Myrtle Avenue, Sunday from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • 700 block of Wildrose Avenue, Monday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Households impacted by the outages were sent notifications in advance, according to city officials.
