Oil Spill Backs Up Traffic On The 210 Freeway In Monrovia
A car crash caused oil to spill on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Monrovia, according to Caltrans.

MONROVIA, CA — Traffic came to a crawl on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Monrovia mid-Tuesday morning when a car crash caused oil to spill on the road.
The three left-most lanes of traffic on the westbound side of the freeway were closed at Myrtle Avenue in Monrovia as workers from Caltrans cleaned up the spill, according to California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 9 a.m., and it’s unknown what caused it or how many cars were involved.
Traffic was eventually reopened in all lanes of the 210 Freeway by 10 a.m., Caltrans said. However, cars were still backed up on the freeway as far away as the Sunflower Avenue exit in Glendora.
