• Sierra Madre Police Respond to Suspicious Call at Alverno Heights Academy (coloradoboulevard.net) — Monrovia Police officers helped Sierra Madre authorities safely clear Alverno Heights Academy after an anonymous caller falsely claimed devices were planted on campus, prompting a full evacuation and K-9 search. Nothing dangerous was found, but police have increased patrols around schools, worship sites, and busy gathering spots, and are urging residents to stay alert and report anything suspicious.
