Photos: Monrovia's Oldest Carriage Barn Moved to New Spot
A historic carriage barn was taken apart and will be rebuilt at a new site on Norumbega Drive.
The last existing vintage carriage barn in Monrovia has been taken apart and will be reassembled in a new location.
The barn will be rebuilt on a one-acre parcel in the 900 block of Norumbega Drive, though just when that will be completed remains undecided.
"While the carriage barn has yet to be erected at its new home, the entire community in Monrovia can take pride in the fact that in the year 2013 one structure was not demolished," the Monrovia Historic Preservation Group's (MOHPG) website states.
