Reunited: Found Dog 'Pepper' Returned to Owner
Monrovia Animal Control was able to reunite a dog found next to the freeway after it was brought in to a local animal boarding business.

A local dog found next to the freeway was reunited with his family because he was microchipped.
The dog, Pepper, was brought into the Wonder Dog Ranch by a family who found the dog without tags.
"With the help of Derek from Monrovia Animal Control and the dog's microchip, we were able to reunite Pepper with his family the next day," the business's Facebook page reports. "So glad we were able to host cute "Pepper" for the night and that this story has a happy ending. Here's the lesson: BE SURE TO MICROCHIP YOUR PET!"
