Salute to Veterans and Their Families Is Saturday in Arcadia County Park

On May 24, 2014, Supervisor Michael Antonovich will host the 17th Annual “Salute to Veterans and Their Families” at Arcadia County Park, 405 South Santa Anita Avenue, Arcadia, California 91006, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This Memorial Day weekend program features a large contingent of exhibitors who provide information, services and resources for Veterans and their Families.  Highlights of the event include a special Memorial Day tribute ceremony at 11:00 a.m. with special guest, KNBC-TV Weatherman Fritz Coleman.  

The event will also feature skydivers; vintage aircraft flyovers; a Wall of Remembrance; military vehicles and equipment displays; a children’s’ area; live entertainment; and food booths.  Historically, this event attracts nearly 10,000 visitors.
