Woman Robbed Walking Home From Work In Monrovia
The woman told police two men approached her as she was walking on Huntington Boulevard, pinned her against a wall and robbed her.

MONROVIA, CA — A woman was robbed while working walking home from work Friday night, the Monrovia Police Department reported. Police said the woman flagged down a passing police patrol car in the area of Huntington Drive and South Canyon Boulevard to report the crime.
She said the crime had happened about two hours earlier and she was coming to the police station to report the crime when she spotted the cruiser and flagged it down. The woman told police two men approached her as she was walking on Huntington Boulevard and pushed her against the wall of a business and took off with her purse.
"As the suspects were fleeing, they dropped some of the victim's property, which she was able to recover," police said.

One suspect was described as a black man, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses. The second suspect as a 6 feet tall man of unknown race with a thin build, wearing a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt.
The investigation was ongoing and anyone with any information about the incident was asked to contact the Monrovia Police Department at (626) 256-8000 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
