If you've ever wondered what a zombie looks like behind the wheel, just check out California Office of Traffic Safety's recent YouTube video campaign made especially for National Distracted Driving Awareness Month, which we found via LAist.

Zombie guys and girls are cruising the California streets, but they aren't obeying any laws. They get pulled over for various violations, including grooming, texting, calling or even partying while driving. Oh, those zombies. Such troublemakers.

Distracted driving is a growing problem locally and nationwide, and comes with a hefty price tag. A first-time citation will cost a minimum of $159, with a second violation at least $279, LAist reports.
