Join us for our 4th Bingo night at the Glendale Elk's Club, 120 E Colorado St.
Glendale Ca 91021. This Bingo night is presented by the American Legion Post
288 and VWF Post 1641. Proceeds will benefit the Scouts of the Verdugo Hills
Council, Boy Scout of America. Door opens at 5 pm and first game is at 6 pm.
There will be opportunity drawing for some great prizes and Elk Club will have
meal purchase options.
Please support Scouting in your community! Scouts help our
community in many ways: the local public and private schools’ benefit from
Eagle Projects which range from putting new shelving in the music room to
revamping the water polo storage shed to putting benches and gardens in
recreational areas. Eagle Scouts have also worked with nonprofits to build
welcoming visitor kiosks at a local native garden and our council do annual
Food Drive to fill our local food pantries and collected shoes for the less
fortunate. The truth is that this is only a small sample of the service
projects Scouts perform in our communities.
