Eleven local Students awarded $2000 scholarship

The Glendale Kiwanis Club is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025 scholarship awards, honoring eleven outstanding high school and college students for their academic achievement, leadership, and dedication to community service.
This year’s scholarships recognize top graduates from Clark Magnet High School, Glendale High School, Hoover High School, and Glendale Community College. The awards continue a long-standing Kiwanis tradition of supporting the educational goals of promising young leaders.
“We are thrilled to support these talented and dedicated students as they take the next steps in their educational journeys,” said Amy Taylor, Scholarship Chair for the Glendale Kiwanis Club. “These scholarships reflect our commitment to fostering youth development and building a stronger community.”

Each recipient will receive a $2,000 scholarship, awarded through a competitive process that evaluates academic performance, community involvement, responses to application questions, and a personal interview.
The recipients were honored at the annual Glendale Kiwanis Scholarship Luncheon on May 16, 2025 at the Glendale Elks Lodge. The event brought together family members, school officials, and Kiwanis members to celebrate the students' achievements.
