CAMARILLO, CA — Mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 26, National Pretzel Day 2022— the pretzel's day to shine!
Wetzel’s Pretzels, which re-dubbed it "National Wetzel Day," will mark the occasion by offering free, hand-crafted Original Pretzels to patrons after 3 p.m. at locations nationwide, including at nearby Premium Outlets in Camarillo.
There is no charge for the giveaway — simply show up at Wetzel's and ask for one.

“We’re excited to celebrate National Wetzel Day by welcoming fans to enjoy a signature twisted treat on us,” said Jennifer Schuler, Wetzel’s CEO, who will join corporate staff, franchise partners and store crews, who will all suit up in Wetzel's unforms that day to help with the anticipated pretzel rush.
And pretzel lovers who follow Wetzel’s on TikTok can score access to online deals to keep the pretzel party going. Users can join the hashtag challenge, showing how to #WetzUpYourLife, to win merchandise. Plus, on April 27, Wetzel's will drop a BOGO promo code — good for one free pretzel, with the purchase of any pretzel.

The Wetzel's April 26 offer is one pretzel per person, who must be present, and any upgrades are additional.
Other area Wetzel's locations include at Westfield Topanga in Cangoa Park, Panorama Mall in Panorama City, Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks, Town Center in Burbank, Oaks Shopping Center in Thousand Oaks and Northridge Fashion Center in Northridge.
Pasadena-based Wetzel's Pretzels was founded by Rick Wetzel and Bill Phelps in 1994 at South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach, and now operates more than 340 shops in the U.S. and worldwide.
