Moorpark residents are invited to attend a special hearing to discuss the possible expansion of Grimes Rock Mine.
The mine, also known as Grimes Canyon, is set to double its permitted mining production and will be granted unlimited trucking capacity through Moorpark
The City is battling the changes (approved by the County Planning Commission) and asks that residents attend the meeting on Wednesday, October 16, 7 p.m. at the Moorpark Community Center.
