4 Arrested In Shooting That Injured Boy On Christmas In Mountain View
Four suspects face several charges with gang enhancements after a shooting that injured a 6-year-old boy on Christmas night.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Four Mountain View residents have been arrested who police allege are linked to a shooting that injured a 6-year-old boy on Christmas night and a robbery earlier in the day.
According to the police department, officers and medics rushed to the 900 block of Clark Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Christmas and found the child with a gunshot wound to his lower body. He was rushed to the hospital and expected to make a full recovery. A man was also injured in the incident with a minor wound to his lower body. Police said an initial investigation suggested at least one person shot into the home before fleeing the area.
Earlier in the day, officers were called to a 7-Eleven on Latham Street where a victim said they were robbed of a necklace.

In a news release Thursday, police said a thorough investigation led detectives to four young suspects connected to both cases. On Wednesday, Mountain View officers worked with multiple area SWAT teams to execute warrants at four residences on Del Medio Court, Latham Street and Calderon Avenue, along with Ottawa Court in Sunnyvale.

- Tristen Villanueva, an 18-year-old Mountain View resident, charged with Robbery, Assault Likely to Cause Great Bodily Harm, Conspiracy, and Gang Enhancement.
- Gilbert Murillo, a 20-year-old Mountain View resident, charged with Conspiracy and Gang Enhancement.
- Two male juveniles from Mountain View, charged with Conspiracy and Gang Enhancement. One of these juveniles faces additional charges for a probation violation.
The department said the operation was successful thanks to help from the Campbell Police Department, Los Altos Police Department, Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, Santa Clara County Specialized Enforcement Team and the Mountain View Fire Department.
