Annoyed Red Tailed Hawk Pauses At Golf Course: Photos Of The Day
The large bird moved a bit as the photographer came closer but did not fly away.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — This juvenile Red Tailed Hawk was photographed at Moffett Field Golf Course last week. The photographer, Jim Erickson, moved in closer to get a photo. While the bird moved a bit, into the sun, it did not fly away. It doesn't look very welcoming, though!
Jim estimated the bird at over 20 inches.
