Burglary Nets iPads, Cameras and Cash
In the North Whisman neighhorhood of Mountain View, one home reported a burglary and another an attempt on Sept. 28.

Thousands of dollar in computer equipment, cash and jewelry may have been stolen from an apartment on the 100 block Evandale Avenue between 9 a.m. and 3:14 p.m. Thursday, the Mountain View Police Department reported
The victims, a 39 year-old woman and a 38-year-old man, returned to a smashed sliding glass door and numerous of their items missing, according to spokesman Sean Thompson about the incident on Sept. 28. These included a Nikon Camera, a Canon camera, a Samsung Galaxy tablet, three iPads, a MacBook Pro, two HP Packard laptops, two extermal hard drives, other photography equipment, miscellaneous jewelry and $3,000 in cash.
The police have no suspect description.

Earlier in the day, at 1:45 p.m. on the 200 block of Walker Drive , a female reported she heard someone knock on the door three times as she sat on her couch. Later she saw a man put on garden gloves who she believed plan to burglarize her house. As he approached her door, she yelled "thief" several times and the alleged suspect ran off.
The MPVD continues to investigate.
