Chapala Closes, Dickey's Barbecue Pit to Replace it
The Mexican restaurant at Bailey Plaza shuts its doors after 23 years.
Changes are coming to Bailey Plaza.
After 23 years in Mountain View, the Chapala Mexican restaurant located at 570 N. Shoreline Boulevard closed its doors on Sept. 21, 2012.
On it's door was the following message:

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Chapala's door.
We would like to thank each and everyone one of your for your continued support.

We have enjoyed serving you and getting to know many of you personally. It has truly been a great privilege serving you over the past 23 year. We will miss you all.
In its place, and owned by Full Pockets Enterprises, a Dickey's Barbecue Pit will opened.
