Free Dental Clinic to Be Held May 18-19

The free dental care will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis in San Jose.

Need dental work, but in between dental care coverage? Get thee to San Jose this month.

A free, two-day dental clinic in San Jose this month will offer an extensive list of services.The services start with basic exams and cleanings, but also include fillings, root canals, extractions, partials for front teeth, plus assistance in finding ongoing dental care.

Local Mountain View dentist Dr. Gordon Gong will participate along with other area dentists as part of Compassion Week through her church Open Door Church of Mountain View.

The clinic will be held at the South Hall of the San Jose Convention Center, 150 West San Carlos St. the weekend of May 18 – 19. The doors open each day at 5:00 a.m. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Organizers hope to treat 2,000 people during the two day Clinic.The event is sponsored by the California Dental Association Foundation and the California Dental Association.

All services are provided by dental professionals who are donating their services.Spanish language interpreters will be present, and no identification is necessary.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
