'Club 201' Teen Dance

• What: A safe and fun-filled dance for middle schoolers. Only sixth and eighth graders allowed!

Silicon Valley African Film Festival

• What: The third annual presentation of the Silicon Valley African Film Festival, a showcase of films reflecting the stories, hopes and dreams of Africa. Highlights of the festival include dialogue with filmmakers, African drumming and dance performances, a parade of African nations, and an awards ceremony. Presented by Oriki Theater in partnership with the Community School of Music and Arts.

PYT and a "The Little Old Lady..."

• What: The ever talented kids over at Peninsula Youth Theatre perform "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything," Adapted from the book by Linda Williams by K. Gardiner.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

• What: Join area Latinos as they celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a parade of countries from Spain to Venezuela. There will be music, entertainmen and food. Proceeds from food sales will go to help needy children.

Oktoberfest in Campbell 

• What: Munich right here in the South Bay. Stop by for food, music, shopping, and the fifth annual 5k run right. More than 100 artisans from all over the country will offer up their wares and various food vendors will entice with bratwurst, German potato salad and more.
