Juvenile Arrested For South Bay Homicide: Police

SUNNYVALE, CA — A juvenile was arrested on suspicion of a Sunnyvale homicide last month, police said Tuesday.

In the early hours of April 30, Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety officers responded to the 100 block of South Bernardo Avenue on the report of gunshots. Officers located a man inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.

On May 1, detectives arrested a male juvenile in connection with the homicide. Since he is a juvenile, his name was not released. He is currently being held at the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall, police said.
