Mountain View Council To Appoint New City Attorney

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — The Mountain View City Council is planning to appoint Jennifer Logue as City Attorney next week.
The appointment is slated for the City Council meeting on Tuesday.
Logue has more than 22 years of legal experience and has worked as a local government attorney and litigator, city officials said.

She most recently served as the supervising attorney over the General Government and Finance Unit in the Oakland City Attorney's Office.
Her first day as city attorney for Mountain View is scheduled for April 18. Her annual starting salary will be $293,000.

Logue will represent and advise the City Council, advisory bodies and city departments in matters of law related to city business.
She will oversee a staff of four attorneys, two code enforcement officers and two legal support staff.
She holds a bachelor's degree from Whittier College and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
Mountain View's city attorney position became vacant following the retirement of City Attorney Krishan Chopra in December 2021.
