Mountain View Jersey Mike's To Donate Sales To Special Olympics
Wednesday is the national Day of Giving, and Jersey Mike's in Mountain View and around the Bay Area are donating all sales to charity.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Savor a sub and help someone in need out: win-win. On Wednesday, Jersey Mike’s sub shops across the Bay Area will donate 100 percent of their sales to good causes.
Around Silicon Valley, shops in Gilroy, Los Gatos, Mountain View, San Jose, Santa Clara and Sunnyvale will donate their Wednesday earnings to Special Olympics Northern California.
The initiative is part of the company’s 14th annual Day of Giving, when 2,500 Jersey Mike’s locations around the country are expected to give over $20 million to local charities. Since the Month of Giving began in 2011, the chain has raised more than $88 million, according to a company news release. Stores have also been collecting donations for their chosen charities for the entire month.
