Environmentalists want to reduce the number of drive-thru restaurants in Mountain View because of the pollution that idle cars create.

Supporters of drive-thrus claim it's a convenience.

Recently, the chicken sandwich fast-food restaurant chain Chick-fil-a received a conditional use permit from Mountain View to open in the city, but the drive-thru became a controversial issue.

Now, with the recent public's awareness about Chick-fil-a's conservative social policies, gay rights advocates hope people will not spend their money there.

What happens when a Chick-fil-a wants to open a drive-thru in Mountain View?
