Sporting Goods Store Now Hiring for New South Bay Location

SOUTH BAY, CA -- If you love sports and/or the outdoors and are looking for a job, then an opportunity for you might be around the corner.

Dick's Sporting Goods says it plans to hire about 80 full-time, part-time and temporary associate positions for a new store opening soon in Sunnyvale.

Dick's says its looking for applicants to join the team at the new East El Camino location at 125 E. El Camino Real. The East El Camino location is a former Sports Authority store that's being converted into a Dick's Sporting Goods. It's expected to open in March.

The new store will feature athletic and outdoor apparel and the latest gear for team sports, fitness, camping, hunting and fishing, as well as a new footwear section designed to offer a broad selection of sports performance and casual footwear.

Dick's has said that ideal candidates "will draw on their personal experiences and in-depth knowledge to guide, inform, equip and inspire our customers."
