Sunnyvale Police Seek Help Finding Suspect Who Struck Man

Police would like to know if you can identify the people shown here to help find a suspect who reportedly struck a person in a parking lot.

SUNNYVALE, CA -- The police department is searching for witnesses and information regarding a Wednesday crash who struck a man in the Lakewood Shopping Center parking lot.

Officers said an older black Mercedes pictured in the photo collided the man at 11:47 p.m. in the parking lot located at 1123 Lawrence Expressway in Sunnyvale, and they believe the unidentified man and woman shown here may know the driver of the vehicle.

The unknown male pictured is described as a possible Hispanic male, standing 5-foot, 9-inches tall, with a medium build, and wearing a red San Francisco 49ers shirt and dark pants. The unidentified female appears to be a possible White or Hispanic female, standing 5-foot, 5-inches tall, with a heavy build, wearing a black sweater and black pants. The female has long brown hair reaching the middle of her back.

The involved vehicle is a two-door black Mercedes with a sunroof.

Sunnyvale public safety detectives are asking for individuals to come forward if they witnessed the collision or may have information leading to the identification of the individuals pictured.
