Here's a list of things to do in Mountain View during the weekend of May 18 and 19.

Wings Freedom Tour

  • Stop by Moffett Field starting between Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 25 and take a look at some B-17, B-24 and P-51 aircrafts part of the 24th season of the Wings of Freedom Tour. Tours of the aircrafts cost $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12 years old. World War II Vets get in for free. There are special flight training packages. Pirates of Penzance
  • Enjoy the last weekend of yet another spectacular performance by Peninsula Youth Theatre as they take on Gilbert & Sullivan's Pirates of Penzance. The shows take place Friday, May 17 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 18 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts and the cost for adults is $20, and $16 for seniors and children 12 and under.
Library Book Sale
  • Enjoy some new and older books at the Mountain View Public Library book sale, this Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 9:45am for members-only and for the general public between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Sunday, May 19 the general public sale begins at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and bag sale from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Easy Pieces at Fred's Place
  • Listen to the live roots rock of Easy Pieces at Fred's Place, 2534 Old Middlefield Way, on Saturday, May 18 at 9 p.m. No cover.
