1 Person Injured, Home Destroyed, 3 Vehicles Burn In Menifee Fire

MENIFEE, CA — A fire Monday in Menifee that destroyed a home, damaged three vehicles and sent one person to a local hospital was contained, authorities confirmed.
The blaze reported at 6:08 a.m. in the 24600 block Conejo Drive was doused, but Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department crews were expected to remain at the scene through the morning to overhaul and salvage items from burned-out single-family home, according to the agency.
A non-firefighter sustained minor injuries during the blaze and was sent to an area hospital via ground ambulance for further treatment, the fire department reported.
