Evacuation Ordered In Murrieta Following Gas Line Break

MURRIETA, CA — Evacuations were underway late Monday morning following a gas line break at 39525 Los Alamos Road.

A business complex is affected, and all businesses between Grocery Outlet and Friends of the Murrieta Library were being evacuated, according to a Murrieta Police Department social media message posted around 11 a.m.

Murrieta Fire & Rescue was on scene, and Southern California Gas Company was en route.

The community is being asked to avoid the area.
