Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County Name New CEO

Grant Anderson will serve as CEO for Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County.

TEMECULA, MURRIETA, LAKE ELSINORE, CA – Grant Anderson has been names as the Chief Executive Officer for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County. The important role of the CEO is to provide leadership in all functions of the organization including resource development, marketing and communication. In addition, the CEO oversees human resources, programming, finance, facilities, board and community development, government relations and strategic growth for the Clubs in Southwest Riverside County inclusive of Temecula, Murrieta and Lake Elsinore.

Grant has been serving as the CEO for the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington, IL. In his tenure as CEO he increased capacity to serve youth and led the transformation of the organization and culture by identifying and recruiting key staff and board volunteers. His effective leadership was recognized through being awarded as the 2015 Boys & Girls Club of American CEO of the Year for the state of Illinois. Grant also received distinction as the 2015 Boys & Girls Club of America Vision and Spirit Awardee for the Midwest.

Grant holds a Bachelors in Science Summa Cum Laude in Politics and Government with a Minor in Economics, Peace and Conflict Resolution from Illinois State University. He is highly engaged in the communities where he has resided include active volunteer service with United Way, the County Juvenile Justice Council, the Chamber of Commerce, and with Rotary. Most recently, he served as the keynote speaker for the Rotary Youth Leadership conference.

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Under Grant’s leadership, the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest County will continue to provide a safe place for youth to learn and grow through life-enhancing programs and character development experiences.
