Corner Bookstore Sidewalk Sale: Books to Go for 25¢ to $1
The Friends of the Murrieta Library's "Corner" Bookstore is having an Overstock Sidewalk Sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.

In preparation for National Library Week, Oct. 21-26, The Friends of the Murrieta Library’s “Corner” Bookstore is having an Overstock Sidewalk Sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.
Volunteer Manager, Nancy Dixon, states, “Hundreds of books will be available, providing a wide range of choices for all. Where else can you find books that are in good to excellent condition for 25 cents to $1? All proceeds from this sale will benefit our library programs.”
For every $5 spent, customers will receive a ticket for an opportunity drawing. Customers can choose from among ten to fifteen prizes, either focusing on a favorite book, or distributing tickets as they like. Come and be ready to pick up a favorite author(s) and have the opportunity to select among the prizes!

The mission of the Friends of the Murrieta Library is to support the Murrieta Public Library through fund-raising, advocacy and volunteerism, and to promote awareness of and support for the Library as it serves the informational, educational, cultural and recreational needs of our Community.
Dixon added: “We need volunteers willing to give of their time and talent. If you are interested in volunteering and would like more information, please call our bookstores at 677-5350 or 600-5724.”
