HEMET, CA — A man was fatally shot at a Hemet mobile home park, but there was no word Monday on whether police had identified potential suspects.

The deadly attack occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of West Kimball Avenue, near South State Street, according to the Hemet Police Department.

The agency said patrol officers were called to the location after witnesses found the victim, whose identity was not immediately released.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives assumed the investigation, but there was no indication Monday that a person of interest or suspect had been identified.
