MURRIETA, CA —A full day of rain, with heavy rains to follow Thursday, has prompted the closure of all Murrieta allocated fields, according to a city of Murrieta announcement.

"From time to time, the Murrieta Community Services Department may need to close fields due to unsafe or unplayable field conditions.

"All City of Murrieta allocated fields (municipal and school district), as well as the Disc Golf courses at Mountain Pride Park and Rancho Acacias Park, are closed during the current storm," the Murrieta Community Services Department shared on its website.
