MURRIETA, CA — After his 35-year tenure teaching at Murrieta Valley High School, beloved government and history teacher Greg Baird is retiring, the Press-Enterprise reported.

Baird is the longest-serving teacher at the school and is the only teacher who has taught continuously at the school since it opened in 1990, the newspaper reported.

Baird taught at the school when it first shared a location with Shivela Middle School. In 1991, it moved to where it resides now at 42200 Nighthawk Way.
