Three Arrested Over the Weekend During Napa DUI Patrols
Three people were arrested in Napa over the weekend on charges of drunk or drugged driving.

NAPA, CA -- Over 50 vehicles were checked and three people were arrested over the weekend during the Napa Police Department's latest DUI patrols, which were held the night of Friday, Feb. 24 and early morning on Saturday, Feb. 25.
The Napa PD's traffic unit conducted its DUI saturation patrol between the hours of 6 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Sunday. During this enforcement period officers conducted 51 vehicle enforcement stops, during which two drunk driving suspects were arrested, and one suspect was taken in on suspicion of drug-impaired driving.
One ticket was issued for issued for an unspecified violation, the NPD said.

Drivers caught driving impaired can expect the impact of a DUI arrest to include jail time, fines, fees, DUI classes, license suspension and other expenses that can exceed $10,000.
Napa PD has said it will conduct another DUI patrol on Friday, March 17 as part of an ongoing commitment to lowering deaths and injuries upon the city's streets and highways.

The NPD's DUI saturation patrol is funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
