Meeting Set Tomorrow for Napa Businesses With BottleRock-Related Events
City organizes April 5 meeting, starting 9 a.m.

Businesses planning a special event or extended hours during the upcoming BottleRock Festival in May are encouraged to attend a City of Napa-organized informational meeting at the Napa Valley Opera House on Friday, April 5 at 9 a.m.
Upcoming “door-to-door” business visits and event permitting will be discussed.

There is also a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday for neighbors of the Napa Valley Expo, where BottleRock will be held May 9-12. For details of the neighborhood meeting, click here.
In the coming weeks, city inspection staff will be conducting door-to-door visits of hospitality-related businesses – including restaurants, bars, tasting rooms and galleries – to provide guidance on how to manage large crowds, maintain safe occupancy limits and control noise during extended hours and special events.

City staff will also discuss event permitting, if needed, for any special activity businesses are planning.
"The door-to-door visits are a pro-active effort by the city to ensure that events are successful and run in a safe and responsible manner," said city spokesman Barry Martin. "The city’s goal is to help make the BottleRock Festival a positive experience for local residents and business persons as well as for visitors."
