UPDATE: 1st Napa Riverfront Chalk Festival is Today, Sunday, April 21

Amy Larson had a run-in with Napa police over chalk slogans she posted Sept. 11, 2012 on the First Street Bridge.

UPDATE: 6 p.m April 17, 2013.

Although Sunday's First Napa Riverfront Chalk Festival is not planned as a political statement, an earlier story on Patch about the festival sparked some memories of a political chalking incident last year.

Amy Larson was arrested Sept. 11, 2012 after chalking "9/11 Truth" and "WTC Bldg 7" slogans on the First Street Bridge in Napa.
