UPDATE: BottleRock Expects Revised LIneup for Thursday, May 9
Festival to announce new lineup to make up for cancellation by Grateful Dead spinoff band Furthur.

Following is a statement released this morning by BottleRock Napa Valley regarding expected lineup changes for Thursday, May 9:
"Today Furthur announced that due to unforeseen circumstances they will be unable to appear as scheduled at BottleRock Napa Valley on Thursday, May 9. Grateful Dead & Furthur Co-Founder Bob Weir is unable to perform in any capacity for the next several weeks.

"BottleRock founders are currently assessing options for the Thursday lineup and an announcement with more details will be issued shortly.
"Thursday pass holders will be able to enjoy a incredible lineup of music, including; The Avett Brothers, The Black Crowes, Primus, Violent Femmes, ALO, Café Tacuba, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Richard Thompson Electric Trio, X, Moonalice, The Refusers, Ray Bertalino and the Forget Me Nots, Delta Spirit, and Cosmos Percussion Orchestra. The comedy lineup for Thursday features Tig Notaro, Bill Burr, and Anthony Jeselnik.

Grateful Dead spinoff band Furthur has cancelled its BottleRock Napa Valley appearance, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
The band, featuring bassist Phil Lesh and guitarist Bob Weir, was to headline the Thursday, May 9 lineup on the
However, plans changed after Weir reportedly fell onstage during a recent performance in Port Chester, New York, the article says. He was unable to finish that concert, according to reports.

Furthur also posted a note on their Facebook page. According to the note, "Grateful Dead & Furthur Co-Founder Bob Weir is unable to perform in any capacity for the next several weeks."
