Hump Day? Get Over It at 1st "Wednesdays on Napa Riverfront" Tonight

"Wednesdays on Napa’s Riverfront" kicks off officially tonight and throughout April.

The event, from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight and on April 17 and 24, includes specials from the nearly 20 shops, restaurants and specialty venues along Napa’s Riverfront.

Those include:

• Amelia's Gifts at the Napa River Inn: 20 percent off on spring hats
• Angèle: Select wine specials
• Celadon: Select wine specials
• Fish Story: Half priced freshly shucked oysters on the half shell in the bar and bar patio
• Frati Gelato Café: Gelato floats – sweet wine floats with Brachetto or Prosecco for $5.00, and non-alcoholic Coke floats with two small scoops of gelato for $4.00
• Liken Gallery:  Displaying a variety of art by local artists
• Morimoto Napa: Exclusive drink special
• Napa River Inn: Wine Tasting in the lobby
• Napa Valley Welcome Center: Weekly drawing for the Charles O’ Rear book, Napa Valley: The Land, The Wine, The People (Retail Value $45)
• Napa’s General Store: Local artists and vendors will be available for demos or Q & A
• Scott Lyall clothes for men: 10 percent off for all locals
• Silo’s: Happy Hour from 5 p.m. – 7 pm. with half priced cocktails and Silo’s; live music from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. with $5 cover at the door, plus you’ll receive a chip for one Silo’s Beer
• Sweetie Pies: Buy one individual cake, get the second half price
• The Pear: 50 percent off all wines by the bottle (value up to $80)
