YOUNTVILLE, CA — A wine country hospitality veteran has joined the team at Poetry Inn in Yountville, according to an announcement Tuesday from Jason Lede, director of communications at Poetry Inn and the adjacent Cliff Lede Vineyards.

Jennifer Rose, who has nearly three decades of diverse experience in the luxury hospitality, wine, travel and culinary industries, now serves as hotel manager for Poetry Inn where she is committed to ensuring guests experience the highest level of tranquility, luxury and service during their stay, Lede said.

Rose is a California native who was born in Pasadena and grew up in the Bay Area. In 1995, she relocated to Napa Valley to pursue a role as the executive assistant to the president of the Culinary Institute of America, just as the organization was inaugurating the Greystone campus in St. Helena. Throughout her seven-year tenure there, Rose ascended through various roles in marketing, public relations and special events, each nurturing her deep-rooted passion for the world of food, wine and hospitality and further solidifying her love for one of its global epicenters, Napa Valley.

In 2003, she launched the Provenance Winery Visitor Center as director of hospitality for the Chalone Wine Group. Later, upon the group’s acquisition by Diageo, she transitioned to the role of sales manager for Domaine Chandon. Over a decade in this position, Rose managed trade, media, special events, community and hotel concierge relations, and more for both Domaine Chandon and Newton Vineyards. Concurrently, she was elected to and served a two-year term as the vice president of the Yountville Chamber of Commerce.

In her most recent endeavor, Rose assumed the role of opening general manager for the privately owned luxury vacation estate Château de Ninis in Sonoma. As the founding general manager, she struck a balance between hospitality, vineyard management and wine, seamlessly blending her professional experience with her personal interests.
