Napa Bank Robber Nabbed, Police Say
The suspect in the bank robbery was wanted for questioning in several other robberies in Northern California, Napa police said.

NAPA, CA β A man suspected in a Napa bank robbery Thursday was quickly captured, the Napa Police Department said.
Officers were dispatched at 4:26 p.m Thursday to a report of a bank robbery at US Bank in the 800 block of Jefferson Street and were on the scene within a minute of the call, police said.
Bank employees and witnesses gave officers a description of the robber as well as information about his direction of travel.

Officers soon found the suspect, identified by police as 28-year-old David Jarrell, of Rancho Cordova, in his car on Soscol Avenue.
Jarrell got out of his car and ran off but was arrested in the backyard of an apartment in the 200 block of Soscol Avenue with the assistance of a Napa County sheriffβs K9, police said.

Jarrell was already on parole for robbery and is wanted for questioning on several other robberies in Northern California, including Roseville and Yuba City, according to Napa police.
The money taken was recovered, police said, and Jarrell was booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on suspicion of robbery, evading officers in a vehicle, resisting arrest and parole violation.
Jail records showed his bail was set at $100,000.
