Napa 'Water Remains Safe' After Leak, City Assures Customers

Discolored water and lower-than-normal water pressure were the potential effects of a water main leak over the weekend, the city said.

NAPA, CA—The City of Napa Water Division completed repairs Monday on an emergency water main leak that occurred Sunday in a 36-inch water transmission line on Foster Road.

To make these repairs, a section of the line was out of service and was expected to disrupt the way water normally flowed through the system. While no customers should've been without water, some customers in the areas listed below may have noticed lower-than-normal water pressure and potentially discolored water, the city said.

If discolored water occurred, residents were told to flush their lines at the exterior hose bib and apply that water to outdoor landscaping.
