The gastropub with a speakeasy vibe & large patio with firepits & outdoor games overlooking the Napa River, is a community gathering place.
NAPA, CA – There's a new go-to destination for those looking for casual dining and entertainment in Napa. The Lincoln, described as "an elevated new American gastropub," opens Friday, July 21 at 505 Lincoln Ave.
The Lincoln offers a full range of cocktails, fresh twists on classic fare, and weekend brunch — all with views of the Napa River. With late-night hours, walk-in availability, and a wraparound patio with firepits and outdoor games, The Lincoln will be a convenient and fun option for locals and visitors alike.
“Our team is dedicated to the art and craft of hospitality,” said Michael LeBlanc, proprietor, The Lincoln. “We saw an opportunity in Napa for a casual destination that offers not only delicious food and great drinks but also an environment where people can really unwind."

LeBlanc, who is also the successful proprietor of Ace & Vine, an upscale cardroom that opened in 2021 in the heart of Napa and more conveniently, next door to The Lincoln.

"Our goal was to design a dining space that embodies the ideal setting for an enjoyable Friday night with friends," LeBlanc said about The Lincoln. "We aimed for a relaxed atmosphere while ensuring that our culinary offerings and service reflect the sophisticated flavors and exceptional standards that we appreciate as consumers in Napa."

The menu was developed by executive chef Leo V. Varos Jr. and is anchored around American classics. Highlights include Honey Sriracha Salmon Lollipops, the Superfood Salad, and Short Ribs with Potatoes Au Gratin, along with fun twists, like Hash Mac, Chef Leo’s hash browns topped with signature mac n’ cheese.
Varos, who has cooked in hotels and resorts throughout Spain, as well as in Alaska and in his hometown of Santa Fe, also developed a brunch service. Starting mid-summer, the brunch menu will feature favorites like Fried Chicken & Waffles with Sriracha Honey Drizzle, Warmed Donut Holes, Smash Burger with Fried Egg, and, of course, a signature Bloody Mary.

The beverage program, brought by beverage director John Schantz who was born in SF and grew up in Sonoma, emphasizes local beer, wine and spirits. Bourbon, tequila and mezcal cocktails are the highlights, along with a rotating menu of gin, vodka and barrel-aged cocktails.
According to Schantz, who previously worked as the bar manager at the acclaimed Layla at MacArthur Place in Sonoma and opened Napa’s Blue Note as assistant to the general manager, The Lincoln will offer an array of captivating zero-proof choices that showcase the essence of the Napa region through locally sourced ingredients.

With more than 75 percent of the featured draft beers hailing from around the Bay Area, as well as wines from Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles and the Central Valley, the drink menu features a diversity of regional flavors.
“I’ve worked with restaurants around the Bay Area to create energetic, engaging spaces where people want to stay and linger," said Adam Snyder, restaurateur, The Lincoln. "That’s the same kind of energy I’m excited to bring to Napa."
Previously, Snyder partnered to create, own and manage iconic venues in San Francisco, such as the Impala, Taverna Aventine, The Ambassador, The Brixton, City Tavern and Rambler, as well as ventures in Las Vegas. Regarding The Lincoln, Snyder described it as "more than just a restaurant, but a community gathering place."
"We’ve designed every aspect with a relaxing atmosphere in mind," Snyder said. "The comfortable vibe, large patio, and space for larger groups make it a place for locals and visitors alike to gather."

Inside, the look is sleek yet rich and cozy. Brought to life by Napa native Haley Shackford, owner and founder of House a Home Interior Design Studio, a bolted stainless-steel bar and floor-to-ceiling fireplace immediately capture attention. Textured walls, touches of brass, and dark wood beams provide a relaxed, speakeasy vibe while natural light pours in from the tall sliding glass doors.
Grab friends and family for an impromptu afternoon —or late night —round of Oversized Jenga, Connect Four, Corn Hole, or Ping Pong on the patio.
The Lincoln is situated next to Ace & Vine on Lincoln Avenue. Once it opens July 21, operating hours will be from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Visit thelincolnnapa.com for more information.
