POLICE LOG: Drugs, Shoplifting, Stolen Property

Napa Police arrest multiple suspects.

A 27-year-old Vallejo man was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and shoplifting in connection with an incident at Walmart Napa.

Ronnie Lynn Moore was taken into custody at Wednesday at the store at 681 Lincoln Ave, Napa.

Police said Walmart security contacted Napa Police  for a shoplifter in-custody.

An officer responded to the scene and determined that Moore allegedly left with approximately $1,700 in merchandise without paying on Monday, April 8.

 Security recognized Moore when he returned to the store on Wednesday, April 10.

 They contacted Moore with a cart of merchandise and allegedly determined he did not intend to pay for these items either. 

Moore was arrested and booked into Napa County Department of Corrections.

A 24-year-old transient in the Napa area was arrested on suspicion of probation and parole violation, resisting arrest and on a prior Napa County warrant.

Paul Kevin Brewer was arrested Wednesday in the area of 5th and Coombs streets in Napa.

Police said an officer saw  Brewer riding his bike near Coombs and 5th.

The officer knew Brewer had warrants and attempted to stop him. Brewer rode the wrong way down 4th and dropped his bike and jumped a fence with the officer in foot pursuit.

After jumping ofver several fences in the area, the officer finally caught up to Brewer as he was just going over the fence between Community Projects an Nations, where Brewer gave up because he was tired and hot from all the running.

Brewer’s parole officer was contacted and a hold was issued. The original warrant was for 11377 H&S and along with parole has two current probations. He was booked into Napa County Department of Corrections.

A 25-year-old American Canyon man was arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin and on three outstanding warrants.

Jeremiah John Wolfe was arrested at around 6 p.m Wednesday at the Walmart store at 681 Lincoln Ave. in Napa.

Officers contacted Wolfe as he sat on a bench in front of WalMart. Wolfe appeared to be asleep or intoxicated.

Officers learned that Wolfe had three warrants for his arrest.

Wolfe was arrested and transported to Napa County Department of Corrections. While being booked, the booking officer located a small amount of suspected heroin in the sock of Wolfe.

He was booked on an additional charge of possession.

Two men were arrested at 2 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

Alberto Alexander Galvan, 20, of Vallejo and Edwin Quintanille, 18, of Napa were taken into custody in the vicinity of West Pueblo Avenue and Redwood Road in Napa.

The incident began when police officers responded to the area of Luke Drive on report of two male suspects looking into vehicles.

Officers saw a vehicle leaving the area. The officer caught up with and stopped the vehicle at Redwood Road / West Pueblo Avenue.

A checkbook could be seen in the back of the vehicle in plain view. The name on the checkbook was not that of any of the people in the vehicle.

The owner of the checkbook was contacted and he confirmed to have been the victim of a theft from his vehicle on Lloyd Court. The theft occurred that evening.

Officer Davis talked with all three occupants of the vehicle and arrested Galvan and Quintanilla. The third occupant, a Napa resident, was not arrested.

Additional stolen property was located in the vehicle including a car radio / CD player and sunglasses. These items were most likely stolen, police said, but no victims were immediately identified.
