POLICE LOG: Pinot Cabernet Noir, Anyone?

Only in Napa Valley wine country.

Napa County Jail's booking log is rarely a source of pure entertainment -- unless less perhaps you're a fan of felons.

However, today's log is worthy of a cameo spot on Jay Leno's "Tonight" show.

The jail, officially known as the today booked a 52-year-old male offender named "Pinot Cabernet Noir" on suspicion of probation violations.

"Noir," it seems, is 3-feet-tall and weighs 300 pounds, is bald and has blue eyes. Occupation: unknown.

"I don't know," said Napa County Sheriff's Capt. Tracey Stuart, when asked about the interesting inmate. "It's probably a joke or a training exercise."

Jail personnel were not immediately available for comment.
