Redwood Road in Napa Reopens After Mudslide Cleared
Redwood Road in an area a half-mile west of Napa city limits has now reopened after closing last week due to a mudslide.

NAPA VALLEY, CA -- A portion of Redwood Road located a half-mile west of Napa city limits has reopened after closing last week due to a mudslide, the Napa County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
Sheriff's officials said a massive mudslide was reported around 5:15 a.m. Feb. 7 and large trees and wires fell in the area of 4630 Redwood Road during stormy weather.
Sheriff's officials announced around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 13 that the road was reopened.

Pacific Gas & Electric restored service and road crews cleared blocked driveways and removed soil, trees and woody material to county-owned sites.
The cause of the slide is under investigation, according to the Napa County Planning, Building and Environmental Services Department.

The cost of the cleanup was estimated at $150,000, county officials said.
