Results Of Napa DUI Patrol On Saturday Announced

Results of a weekend DUI Saturation Patrol in Napa are announced.

NAPA - Napa Police made five arrests on an overnight weekend DUI Saturation Patrol and issued four additional citations March 12-13.

According to Napa Police, in the DUI Patrol between 6:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m.:

  • There were 63 Vehicle enforcement stops
  • Two DUI-Alcohol suspects were arrested
  • Three drivers were arrested on other Charges (Warrants & Drug possession)
  • Four citations were issued

For those who drink alcohol when out for an evening, police recommend the California Office of Traffic Safety DDVIP (Designated Driver VIP) mobile app, available for free download on iOS and Android devices.

The app allows users to “Map a Spot” with their current location to find DDVIP partnering establishments in their area or a “List of Spots” to search all participating bars and restaurants throughout California, according to officials.

Through the app, users can also order a sober ride on a single screen from Uber, Lyft or Curb.
