Detour To Begin For Soscol Junction Interchange Project

A detour for state Highway 221 will be in effect as traffic will no longer be able to access Soscol Ferry Road, Caltrans advised.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — As work on the Soscol Junction Interchange Project at the state Highways 29/221 interchange, a detour for SR-221 will be in effect, Caltrans announced Wednesday. Traffic will no longer be able to access Soscol Ferry Road until spring 2024.

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 2, motorists traveling on southbound SR-221 will not be able to exit to Soscol Ferry Road and a temporary detour will be set in place, Caltrans said in a news release.

Motorists will be detoured to turn right at the intersection of Napa Valley Corporate Way, turn left on Napa Valley Corporate Drive, and left to access Soscol Ferry Road.

The closure will allow construction crews to begin the next construction phase.
