Yountville Resort Burglarized, 2nd Attempt Thwarted
After stealing safe, burglars return for more, but they are cut short.

A small safe was stolen by burglars who broke in overnight Saturday to the Villagio Inn and Spa in Yountville, according to Napa County Sheriff's Capt. Tracey Stuart.
However, an alert employee who arrived early Sunday apparently thwarted a second attempt to remove an ATM from the premises.
Stuart said the employee arrived at about 7:20 a.m. in the resort's conference center and saw the ATM loaded on a hand truck. The worker also thought there was a sound of someone leaving the building, Stuart said.
