2 Newark Principals, New Director Of Special Education Appointed

NEWARK, CA — Newark Unified School District has appointed two principals and a new director of special education for the 2022-23 school year.

• Elba Herrera has been chosen as principal of Schilling Elementary School.
• Kristi Palomino will be principal of Coyote Hills Elementary.
• Olivia Rangel will be the new Director of Special Education.

School is almost out for students — the last day of school before summer vacation is next Wednesday, June 1.

Vaccine Clinics will continue from 10 a.m. yo 2 p.m. on Saturdays at Coyote Hills Elementary School, through August.

The first day of school for next school year is Wednesday, August 10.
