• Symphony gifts kids in care of UCSF Children's Hospital with 'magic of music' (mercedsunstar.com) — A Newark family drove 40 minutes to San Francisco so their young daughter, recently discharged from UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, could safely enjoy a special symphony rehearsal just for former patients. They joined hundreds of other Bay Area families exploring instruments, hearing “Peter and the Wolf,” and celebrating recovery while highlighting how music and UCSF’s care help kids heal and reconnect with normal life.
